Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Anesthesia Technician, you will provide critical support in the safe and efficient administration of anesthesia, assisting providers with equipment and supplies for diverse surgical and non‑surgical cases.
Every day, you will prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications before, during, and after cases. This includes performing complex procedures under direction (e.g., setting up and assisting with line placement, intubation, extubation), managing supply inventory, room turnover, and patient positioning/transport.
To be successful in this vital role, you will demonstrate a thorough understanding of anesthesia equipment and sterile techniques, possess meticulous attention to detail, and exhibit excellent communication and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist providers and medical/surgical support staff in activities such as patient assessment, treatment, anesthesia intervention, physiological monitoring, and direct patient care.
- Be timely and precise in preparation, set up, calibration, and troubleshooting of invasive monitoring lines; assist with difficult airway and/or emergency situations.
- Ensure sterile placement of invasive physiological monitoring and treatment catheters (e.g., arterial, pulmonary catheters, venous infusion ports, central venous pressures).
- Respond to patient‑specific needs including blood, medications, supply, and equipment during the surgical procedure, following all guidelines as instructed by the licensed provider.
- Perform patient identification procedures to ensure proper delivery of blood products and medications.
- Operate surgical equipment under the direction of a licensed provider while ensuring operating/procedure rooms and pre/post rooms are adequately stocked with appropriate supplies.
- Work closely with supply logistics to maintain anesthesia product supply for the operating room and procedural areas throughout the facility.
- High School GED and EMT experience, or paramedic experience, or military medic upon hire.
- CNA or PCT training program upon hire.
- Completion of fundamentals as a nursing student and 12 months of acute care (bedside) experience upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – CPR upon hire.

$16.42 – $23.19 /hour
