PHARMACY/CERTIFIED TECH at Kroger Mountain View Foods

Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating customers/employees fairly and ethically, establishing a safe, clean, inclusive environment. Serve as a responsible community member, delivering the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Provide direct patient intervention with health and wellness services permitted by law. Demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license as required
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement
• Deliver a stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps
• Support coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians
• Compound medications according to state and other regulations
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records
• Support non-dispensing services via various platforms
• Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings per state and federal law and company policies
• Provide any additional health and wellness services allowed by state and regulatory bodies
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures per company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure

• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician
