- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. - Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking.
- Medication Reminders:
Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules. Support clients in managing their medication routines. - Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements. Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration. - Companionship and Social Interaction:
Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities. - Health Monitoring:
Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team. Document care provided and any notable observations. - Transportation:
Provide transportation for clients. This will require a reliable automobile, auto insurance, and a valid driver license.
- CNA preferred.
- 1-3 years experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
- Certification CPR and First Aid a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
- Computer access and basic competency.
- Fluent English.
- Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
As a Caregiver at Executive Home Care Omaha, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes in the Omaha area. Experience with ADL's needed. CNA a plus.
