Work Schedule:
Evenings 4:30 pm‑10 pm; alternate weekends 12 pm‑6 pm. The clinic opens January 2026; until then staff will train at other locations.
Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist – Urgent Care – performs diagnostic imaging examinations. The role works evenings and weekends and performs accurate and quality radiological tests on patients.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures within scope of license; excludes CT, contrast media, fluoroscopy or mammography.
- Provides safe, knowledgeable, age‑specific patient care in a holistic manner.
- Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns.
- Completes documentation of patient x‑ray record and quality control processes.
- Performs value‑added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Education / Experience / Licenses
- Current enrollment at the senior level in a degree program of Radiologic Technology.
- Temporary Medical Radiographer (RAD.TEMP) license or Limited Radiologic Technologist (RAD.LIM) license required for work state.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire; required within 3 months of hire.
Physical Requirements
Medium work; exerting up to 50 pounds of force; occasionally climbing, crawling, kneeling; frequently balancing, carrying, crouching, distinguishing colors, grasping, keyboarding/typing, lifting, pulling/pushing, repetitive motions, sitting, stooping/bending, twisting; constantly hearing, reaching, seeing/visual, speaking/talking, standing, walking.
Job Hazards
Not related: explosives, electrical shock/static; occasional: chemical agents (toxic, corrosive, flammable, latex); frequent: biological agents (primary airborne and blood borne viruses), equipment/machinery/tools, radiation α, β, γ particles, radiation non‑ionizing, mechanical moving parts/vibrations.
