Summary of WorkUnique opportunity to complete evaluations for clients who come in for support from Heartland Family Service. After completion another therapist will provide ongoing therapeutic support.
CompensationBetween $50,000 and $68,316 per year (salary determined by total years of relevant experience).
Work Schedule and Location40 hours per week; location to be determined (on‑site at Heartland Family Service).
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy.
- License eligible – LMHP; LIMHP; PLMHP; PLMSW; LMSW; LCSW.
- PLADCL; LADC or PCADC; CADC or substance abuse treatment experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Complete evaluations for a diverse population with co‑occurring disorders using evidence‑based practices.
- Establish and implement treatment plans within first two sessions.
- Provide counseling in individual, group, couple, or family settings per treatment plan.
- Accurately complete all case documentation for clinical and billing purposes.
- Handle cases of high complexity.
- Collaborate with Heartland programs to align evaluation recommendations.
- Complete required reports, statistics, and other administrative tasks accurately.
- Meet third‑party payer requirements for authorizations, reviews, and documentation.
- Provide mental health crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Support agency fundraising and community engagement efforts.
- Follow all program and agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
- Maintain a dynamic self‑care plan and support interns in work‑life balance.
- Perform other program‑related duties as assigned.
