IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 4 days per week

• Minimum 10 shifts required with minimum 2 weekends (1 IR and 1 Cardiac)

• Holiday and on-call requirements apply

• Float daily and on-call as needed between all 3 campuses (Immanuel, Lakeside, and Mercy CB)

• Must live within 50-mile radius and maintain 30-minute response time for home campus

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

• Hospital setting Cardiac Cath/IR experience of more than 3 years required

• Work in versatile lab performing primarily IR with cardiac inpatient add-ons

• Handle 4-5 cases per day on average in 3 suites/labs

• Perform intra-procedural circulating, supplies management, medication administration, and sedation

• Treat common diagnoses including compression fractures, venous access, hydronephrosis, chest pain, and DVT/PE

• Use Siemens equipment with EPIC/Apollo cardiac charting system

• Surgical greens dress code required

• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination

• One week orientation including on-call buddy system

• Valid driver's license required for radius verification

• Radiation badge provided by facility
