Senior Corporate Accountant - West Omaha, NE - Financial Services Industry - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE!

This position will allow you to be challenged while working alongside a leadership team of mentors who are sure to accelerate your learning and development. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and become well versed in a variety of accounting, reporting, and analysis-based responsibility, such as:

• Financial Statement preparation, validating financial data, and analyzing financial results
• The month end close process and associated reconciliations - while also having exposure to the consolidation process on a monthly basis.
• Leveraging technology to improve efficiencies related to reconciliations and budget to actual analysis
• Track and perform analysis on fixed assets and leases company wide - to ensure depreciation schedules are flowing correctly, and assets are valued accurately on the balance sheet.
• Partner with your accounting team to problem solve, develop better processes, and improve the monthly financial consolidation process
• Special projects for the CFO and Corporate Controller, that will allow you to expand your plate of responsibilities over time and continue learning
