Director of Operational Risk Management

A company is looking for a Director of Operational Risk Management responsible for designing and enhancing the operational risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework and oversee governance routines Manage the Process Risk and Control Self-Assessment Program, ensuring consistent documentation and assessment of risks Direct the Control Testing Program and Operational Loss Event Monitoring Program, providing oversight and standards for risk management activities

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field 10 or more years of experience in operational risk or related risk disciplines within financial services Certified Enterprise Risk Professional preferred Demonstrated leadership experience in operational risk functions at a mid-size or larger bank Deep understanding of regulatory expectations and industry frameworks related to operational risk
