A company is looking for an AVP, Actuarial Applications.
Key Responsibilities Provide technology thought leadership and execution for actuarial modeling solutions Build strong relationships with actuarial teams and optimize process flows for modeling platforms Evaluate actuarial SaaS solutions and implement end-to-end data processing solutions
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field Minimum of seven years in an IT role, with at least five years in programming (Python, Julia, R) and SQL
Experience with actuarial modeling systems and domain knowledge in Life & Annuities and P&C insurance Experience in building cloud-based data solutions in AWS Prior knowledge in the fintech, investment banking, or insurance industry
