Accounting Strategist

A company is looking for an Accounting Strategist to support its Finance and Operations team with expert accounting and reconciliation skills.

Key Responsibilities Facilitate communication with a third-party accounting team and perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and employee credit cards Record payroll transactions, process deposits, and maintain the general ledger while preparing financial statements and supporting the budgeting process Identify and propose process improvement opportunities for operational efficiency

Required Qualifications Strong understanding of GAAP principles for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations

Experience with accounting platforms, particularly Sage Intacct Demonstrated skill in reconciling multiple bank and credit card accounts Values-driven with alignment to the organization's mission and core competencies Professional experience in both for-profit and nonprofit financial settings is preferred
