We are seeking a Technology Expert to join our Farm Credit Services of America Board of Directors. In this role, alongside the Board, you will be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of FCSAmerica. The Board oversees the Association’s affairs and establishes policies with the objective of improving the Association’s technology.

• Minimum of five years of senior level leadership/management experience in business technology.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry, agriculture, and/or cooperative or similar business model.
• Experience and knowledge in information technology, technology strategies, technology implementation and emerging technologies for large corporations.

• Four-year term beginning September 1, 2026.
• Ability to commit an average of 40-45 days/year for attendance of Board Meetings and related activities.
• Ability to commit appropriate time to meeting preparation.
• Ability to travel, including some overnight travel.*

Total average annual compensation (retainer + per diem): $100,000–$110,000.

• Annual retainer: $80,000 (paid monthly at $6,670)
• Per diem: $600 per day for official Association business
• Reimbursement of eligible travel expenses

• Must not be a director or employee of an organization that offers financing or risk mitigation products offered by AgCountry Farm Credit Services (AgCountry), Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) or Frontier Farm Credit (Frontier).
• Must not have been an officer or employee of a Farm Credit System institution, within the past 12 months.
• Must not be a Director of another Farm Credit System institution.
• Must not be a customer of AgCountry, FCSAmerica, Frontier or a Director, officer, employee, stockholder or agent of a customer of AgCountry, FCSAmerica, Frontier.
• Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense involving dishonesty or breach of trust or held liable for fraud.
• Must be under the age of 70 years old at the start of board term.
