Operations Specialist - Core Processing

This is a full‑time position that can be worked from any of our Nebraska locations, including Kearney, Grand Island, Lincoln, and Omaha.

• Provide support to daily operations of the bank, covering transaction and interface processes, daily sweep programs, and troubleshooting per Exchange Bank policies and procedures.
• Execute duties at all branch locations in ACH, checks, wires, daily sweep programs, and other services as assigned.
• Process and reconcile wire and ACH transactions, including exception items, incoming/outgoing check and ACH returns, and cash‑letter files.
• Understand and comply with NACHA ACH rules (ODFI/RDFI), UCC, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Assist with ACH disputes, check warranty claims, fraud research, and related requests.
• Coordinate and ensure timely completion of branch proof processingunun deposits and mobile/remote capture deposits.
• Follow defined bank procedures and help develop processes within your responsibilities. supplements?
• Review daily reports to maintain system integrity.
• Provide internal staff support for requests and research.
• Reconcile internal accounts as assigned.

• Associate’s degree or at least two years of related experience and/or training (equivalent combinations acceptable).
• Knowledge of banking regulations, exchange bank policies, and NACHA ACH rules, UCC, federal and state law.
• Proficient PC skills with Microsoft Office, banking systems, and document scanning software.
• Ability to work independently and within a team; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities; detail‑ and deadline‑oriented.
• Working knowledge of banking regulations, bank reporting requirements, and accounting principles.

• Professional certifications (AAP, APRP, NCP) are beneficial but not required.
