Sales & Tax Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Use Tax Analyst to join our dynamic tax team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, focusing on analyzing and preparing multi-state sales and use tax returns.

• Analyze and prepare sales and use tax returns.
• Conduct monthly analysis of fleet truck sales, including resale and out-of-state transactions.
• Work with multiple states to ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations.
• Collaborate with the sales and use tax team to support tax-related tasks and projects.

• 2+ years of sales & use tax experience.
• High level of proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Workday and AS400 is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg tax, Onesource, and Sage for fixed assets is a plus.
• Experience with corporate tax return forms, such as Form 1120, is advantageous.
• New graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of experience are welcome.

Enjoy the convenience of a hybrid work schedule with two remote workdays to start, potentially increasing to three. Office hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The next career step could be a Senior Accountant role, requiring 5-7 years of experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00/yr.
