The Regional Product Development Manager, Power and HVAC, is responsible for leading the regional strategy, growth, and market development of specialty engineered power supply and climate control solutions. This role serves as the subject matter expert and business leader for the Power and HVAC segment, driving revenue, expanding market share, and delivering high value, turnkey solutions across industrial, refinery, construction, and disaster response markets.
Partnering closely with sales, operations, and customers, the Regional Product Development Manager provides technical expertise, consultative guidance, and strategic direction to design, quote, and execute engineered rental solutions. This position blends technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and cross functional leadership to build a strong, competitive, and sustainable Power and HVAC business across the region.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES- Lead strategic sales efforts for specialty power, air, and HVAC solutions across the region
- Develop new rental accounts through in person visits, calls, and relationship building
- Deliver consultative sales presentations and turnkey engineered project proposals
- Support large industrial sites, refinery turnarounds, and disaster contingency planning efforts
- Drive profitable growth through rate strategy, engineered solution selling, and fleet utilization optimization
- Identify cross selling opportunities across additional product lines
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert and single point of contact for Power and HVAC solutions
- Conduct job site assessments, load studies, and equipment sizing
- Design multi level power distribution and large scale climate control solutions
- Support installation, troubleshooting, and execution of small to highly complex engineered projects
- Partner with operations to ensure seamless project delivery and execution
- Lead regional specialty fleet strategy and optimization
- Coordinate equipment movement between branches to support major projects and maximize utilization
- Analyze market trends and demand patterns to guide fleet investment decisions
- Ensure competitive positioning and strong return on rental assets
- Develop and deliver technical training for sales and service teams
- Provide safety focused education on engineered power and temperature control applications
- Demonstrates a growth oriented mindset with a relentless willingness to learn and master technical Power and HVAC applications in an evolving market
- Exhibits strong curiosity, coachability, and commitment to continuous improvement
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience required
- Proven ability to build and sustain high value relationships across industrial sites, refineries, construction environments, and internal branch teams
- Operates with a team first mentality, collaborating effectively with sales, operations, service, and leadership to deliver integrated solutions
- Maintains exceptional follow through, consistently meeting commitments, staying engaged with customers, and building trust through reliability
- Displays a strong work ethic and competitive drive to exceed performance expectations
- Comfortable managing complex, multi component projects and performing effectively in high pressure environments such as turnarounds and disaster response situations
- Demonstrates an ownership mentality with accountability for regional revenue growth, margin performance, and fleet utilization
- Experience in power generation, HVAC, or specialty industrial equipment preferred; strong relationship building skills, discipline, and performance drive are essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
