Civil Engineer

Location: Omaha, NE

Employment Type: Long-Term Contract

Work Arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid (as required by project needs)

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity based in Omaha, Nebraska
. This role will support complex site development projects, including large-scale infrastructure and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in site civil design, stormwater management, and utility coordination, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Perform site development, site master planning, and site selection activities
• Design underground utility routing and site space planning solutions
• Conduct hydrology and hydraulic analyses for storm drain system design
• Analyze and design gravity wastewater systems
• Prepare final grading plans, including cut/fill analysis and earthwork balancing
• Develop erosion and sediment control plans (E&S) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
• Support permitting and approval processes, coordinating with local agencies
• Research and comply with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction
• Perform stormwater analysis and modeling using software such as Storm
  
  CAD and Civil Storm
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations

• 4-8 years of civil engineering experience focused on site development
• Professional Engineer (PE) license - required
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with stormwater modeling software (Storm
  
  CAD, Civil Storm, or similar)
• Data center project experience preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards and permitting requirements
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
