As an Electrical Engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing group, you’ll contribute to projects that enable the core of our clients’ data center facilities engineering, design and construction. You will work on engineering and design of data centers and other mission‑critical facilities. You’ll provide design work, collaborate on technical reviews, assist on construction, and may interact directly with clients, owners, and contractors.
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities. Design may also include retrofitting existing building systems. Additional responsibilities may include managing quality, scope, budget and schedule. Your role supports our connected infrastructure and you will grow through mentorship and career development opportunities.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of engineering design experience in medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus‑style power distribution including conveyance
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- At least 3 years of data center facility design experience
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams
- Passionate about buildings and construction
- Experience in the design of large projects on greenfield sites
