Seeking Regulatory Specialist candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time Pro Sidian employed W-2 Position.
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as an Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Regulatory Specialist) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States:
Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations; prepare documentation; liaise with regulatory agencies.
- Assure regulatory compliance for all environmental-related activities in the task order.
- Apply professional knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, Hazardous Materials Conservation Act, SARA, TSCA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and related federal, state, and local regulations) and implement them on projects.
Qualifications
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
- 5+ years in regulatory compliance; experience in environmental projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Law, or a related field; professional registration in their field (e.g., PE, CHMM, REM) or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience and a minimum of three (3) years in accumulation, manifesting, and shipment of wastes.
Skills & Competencies
- Regulatory knowledge; documentation skills; ability to communicate with regulatory agencies.
- Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with Microsoft Office; e-Verify participation.
