Senior Civil (Design) Engineer (Data Centers) – Jacobs

• Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development.
• Prepare grading plans and perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations.
• Develop site master planning and site selection.
• Route underground utilities and plan site space.
• Design storm drain and wastewater systems.
• Perform final grading plans with cut/fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
• Provide erosion and sediment control, stormwater pollution prevention plans and support permit approval.
• Research local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction.
• Model stormwater in software such as Storm
  
  CAD and Civil Storm.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, including extensive project experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience designing medium to large scale industrial developments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player in multi‑disciplinary environments.
• Quick learner, driven to broaden knowledge base.

• PE certification.
• Bluebeam experience.
• Experience using Navisworks.
