An Accounting Instructor will...
* Teach a full range of Accounting coursework with excellence.
* Collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives for curriculum development - student learning outcome assessment, advisory council activities, and other projects as required.
* Serve as an ambassador for MCC Business throughout the college and community.
* Embrace ongoing personal and professional growth, both in the subject matter and as an educator.

Master’s degree in Accounting or related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.

OR Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline

ANDcurrent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate

AND2 years of full-time related occupational experience.

Preferred:

Higher Education / Community College teaching experience preferred.  Professional work experience in the field of study.
** 232-day, 12-month contract.  May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and may involve travel to other campuses.  May include teaching in our concurrent enrollment program.  A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.  Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval.  Hiring process includes passing a background check.
