Experience SuggestedThe person holding this position should have had three or more years of successful teaching experience and preferably some experience in school administration.
General DescriptionThe Assistant Principal assists with the responsibilities for curriculum, student services, student discipline, staff evaluation, summer school, budget, food services, health services, as well as guidance and counseling services. The Assistant Principal recognizes the Principal as the chief administrative officer of the school and performs the duties within the authority and responsibility delegated by the Principal. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
Qualification for a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory certification required.
