Holy Name Catholic School is excited to invite a caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our faith-filled learning community. We are seeking an educator who loves working with young children, values strong relationships, and is passionate about nurturing students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Our ideal teacher is an educator who:

• Creates a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment for young children
• Supports and models faith through daily routines and interactions
• Provides developmentally appropriate, play-based, and student-centered instruction
• Differentiates instruction to meet the individual needs of early learners
• Builds strong, trusting relationships with students and families
• Uses observation and assessment to guide instruction and support student growth
• Collaborates with colleagues and contributes to a supportive early childhood team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices
• Ability to engage and support young learners in a nurturing and structured environment
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills appropriate for early childhood settings
• Skill in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of young children
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with families and colleagues
• Familiar with Creative Curriculum a plus

Education and Experience

• Valid Nebraska teacher certification or ability to obtain one with Early Childhood Endorsement
• Experience preferred, but not required
• Background check must be completed
• Safe Environment Certified
