Millard South High School seeks a full-time, on-site Science Teacher specializing in Physics for the  school year. The teacher will be responsible for designing dynamic and engaging lesson plans, delivering standards-based instruction, and assessing student performance to ensure academic growth.

Duties include fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, offering individualized support to meet diverse student needs, and engaging students in hands‑on, inquiry‑based learning experiences. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, collaborating with colleagues, participating in professional development, and promoting the District's educational mission.

• Expertise in Science Education, with specialization in Physics and a strong understanding of foundational scientific principles
• Proficiency in Mathematics to support interdisciplinary learning and reinforce critical thinking skills
• Certification and qualifications as a licensed Teacher with experience in curriculum development
• Competence in Lesson Planning to create engaging, standards-based, and inclusive instructional materials
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to support diverse student learning styles and needs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science Education, Physics, or a related field
