Reports to: Principal

• Serve and support the mission of Mary Our Queen School to form students of faith who pursue academic excellence and live in Christian service.
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans as part of a long‑term scope and sequence aligned to the Archdiocese curriculum/Nebraska state standards and in collaboration with other grade levels and specialty teachers.
• Use a variety of rigorous formative and summative assessments to evaluate individual academic progress and adjust instructional plans to meet the needs of all students.
• Effectively communicate with parents and school staff on student progress.
• Establish clear expectations and routines that align with school‑wide values and policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Model and share the Catholic faith, integrating its teachings and values into daily instruction and the life of the classroom.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of subject matter and implement best instructional practices.
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with a grade‑level team, and build a strong rapport with all stakeholders.
• Effectively contribute to our school community in a positive and professional manner.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's of Science Degree – Elementary or Middle School
• Valid NE Teaching Certificate
• Experience in teaching intermediate grades is preferred but not required
• Safe Environment Certified (or willing to be trained)
