Seeking Full-time Chief of Rehabilitation and Extended Care in Omaha, Nebraska.
The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Board Certified Physician to serve as Chief of Rehabilitation and Extended Care with a specialization in Geriatrics. You will report to the Chief of Staff and are responsible for administrating all aspects of the Rehabilitation and Extended Care (REC) service line. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, The Chief of REC services will be responsible for providing direct patient care as well as teaching and resident supervision within the Department of Rehabilitation and Extended Care.
The Omaha Division is an acute, highly affiliated, tertiary care facility. The Omaha facility provides inpatient, medical, surgical and psychiatric care in addition to its ambulatory care services; the Omaha Division is also home to major clinical research programs.
Located just west of the Missouri River, Omaha, NE is a city rich in history and brimming with modern attractions. You are invited to consider joining the team at the VA Omaha Medical Center, providing care for the world’s best patients. You should be board certified/eligible and a US citizen with current US licensure (any state) with no history of revocations or suspension. Permanent Residents may be considered if no US citizen is selected.
Work Schedule:
Full-time. Night and weekend hours are not currently scheduled, however, full-time physicians are employed on a 24/7 basis.

- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
- Board certification in Geriatrics is preferred.
