Inpatient Rounding & Call Coverage Ongoing January-July 2026

A locum General Cardiologist is needed in Omaha, Nebraska to provide inpatient rounding, consults, and night call coverage across affiliated hospitals. This role focuses primarily on inpatient care with limited outpatient responsibilities. Coverage helps bridge gaps as several new physicians are scheduled to start mid-2026.

Coverage Dates:
January 2026 - July 2026

Schedule:

• Rounding: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Night Call: 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM
• Days per Month:
  Minimum 2 weeks per month

Setting:
Inpatient rounding, consults, and call Duties:
Primarily inpatient consults, limited outpatient responsibilities

Required Procedures:
None - consults only Support Staff:
May be independent or have APP support

EMR:
Epic

Reason for Coverage:
Several new physicians starting mid-2026

Average 10 inpatients/campus

• General Cardiology Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required

• NE and IA License or IMLC - Required

• Residency Requirements/Fellowship - Required

• ACLS, BLS, DEA - Required
