Division Chief of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia

CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine are recruiting a Division Chief of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia to be part of our vibrant program and expand our clinical enterprise, research, and educational activities.

• Serve as a role model by espousing exemplary integrity and professionalism.
• Design integrated care protocols for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases.
• Assist in resident and medical student rotation development and teaching.
• Collaborate with serviceline leadership in research, clinical protocols, and operational efficiencies to improve clinical outcomes.
• Promote excellence and innovation in patient care in accordance with the most recent scientific evidence and medical technology.

• Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology, the National Board of Echocardiography in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography, and completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology fellowship.
• Ability to obtain Nebraska license.
• Proven administrative leadership ability and experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• MD or equivalent degree.
