AutoCAD Technician

AutoCAD Technician

Duration: 6 Months

Location:

Omaha, NE (On site)

Pay Rate: $28/hr. to $32/hr. on W2

• Hang asset tags on equipment and components at natural gas compressor stations, receipt points, and delivery points.
• Ensure accurate and consistent labeling and identification of assets according to company standards.
• Collaborate with the asset management team to maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
• Create accurate drawings utilizing research obtained through field research.
• Support the implementation of AutoCAD software for asset management purposes.
• Coordinate with on-site technicians and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tagging and labeling processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in asset management, drafting, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software is desirable but can be learned on the job.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays, for prolonged periods.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to comply with all travel-related policies and procedures.
