Responsibilities- Collaborating with a team of designers and engineers as Architect/Architectural Designer, design some of the world’s most advanced data center facilities and deliver construction documents with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team.
- Plan and conduct work requiring judgment and evaluation, selection, and adaptation of architectural techniques and criteria.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
- Perform calculation checking of others’ work.
- Collaborate with other designers in the development of layout, technical design, construction drawings, specification, and model creation.
- Attend project meetings and help the team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines.
- Participate in and champion internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviews.
- Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
- Perform technical and business presentations with clients and employees.
- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
- Participate in developing proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural program
- Professional Architectural License and ability to be licensed in multiple states
- At least 8 years of professional Architectural Design experience
- Expert-level proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Suite
- Knowledge of building codes and applicability to industrial facilities
- Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
- Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams
- Master’s degree in Architecture
- Experience with designing data centers and industrial manufacturing facilities
