Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Omaha, NE, for a Pre‑Construction Manager/Estimator. The role is responsible for leading all pre‑construction activities, including cost estimating, budgeting, and project schedule development.
Key responsibilities include reviewing project drawings and specifications, defining scope, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors. The position also requires fostering strong client relationships and ensuring all planning and estimating activities align with construction safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications- Proven experience in construction, project controls, and the technical aspects of pre‑construction and project management
- Strong proficiency in budgeting and cost estimating to support accurate financial planning
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills to effectively guide teams through pre‑construction phases
- Solid knowledge of construction safety practices and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
