Job Description & How to Apply Below

Oline Construction is growing in the Midwest, and we’re looking for a dedicated Safety Manager to support our field teams and ensure our projects operate at the highest standards of safety and compliance.

If you’re passionate about building a strong safety culture, partnering with project teams, and keeping people safe while doing meaningful work, this is an opportunity to make a real impact with a fast-growing GC.

At Oline Construction, we believe that safety isn’t just a checklist — it’s a mindset. We build with purpose, teamwork, and accountability, and safety is at the core of everything we do.

As a Safety Manager, you’ll work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and leadership to promote safe work practices on all Oline projects throughout the midwest.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee safety programs across multiple construction projects in the Omaha/Des Moines market
  • Conduct onsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and project-specific safety requirements
  • Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding for project teams
  • Support incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety documentation
  • Collaborate with Superintendents and PMs to identify risks and implement proactive safety measures
  • Maintain safety records, reporting, and metrics in alignment with company standards
  • Help drive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of safety experience in commercial or industrial construction
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to lead, teach, and influence
  • Ability to conduct thorough inspections and document findings accurately
  • Experience developing or delivering safety training is a plus
  • Willing and able to travel within a 3–4 hour driving range.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or similar are preferred (but not required)
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for keeping teams safe
Benefits
  • A strong pipeline of projects in the Omaha/Des Moines area
  • Support from leadership and field teams committed to safe, high-quality construction
  • The ability to make a measurable impact on how we build
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
