Oline Construction is growing across the Midwest, and we’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial ground-up projects in the Omaha area. This is a great opportunity for an emerging construction professional who wants hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and a clear pathway for career advancement within a fast-paced, high-quality general contractor.
As an Assistant PM, you’ll work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to help deliver successful projects from start to finish. You’ll gain exposure to estimating, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and financial tracking while playing an important role in day-to-day project execution.
🔨 What You’ll Do- Support the Project Manager in planning and executing commercial construction projects
- Assist with submittals, RFIs, contracts, and change orders
- Help manage project schedules and track progress in the field
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Review drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance
- Maintain project documentation and reporting
- Assist with cost tracking, budgeting, and pay applications
- Collaborate with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, and schedule goals are met
- 1–3 years of experience in construction (internship experience counts)
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Interest in commercial ground-up construction
- Willingness to learn from experienced leaders and take initiative
