Kids Club Attendant

Reports to:

Kids Club Coordinator & Club Manager

Accepting applications for our Sprague location.

• Provide developmentally appropriate engagement and supervision for children of various ages.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist as needed.
• Monitor and own your schedule; work assigned shifts or secure coverage when needed.
• Support an intentional Team culture and operate in line with company and department purpose and values 100% of the time.
• Establish and participate in fun, high-energy, age-appropriate activities for children in your designated area.
• Utilize child-appropriate attention grabbers appropriately to initiate activities.
• Establish a safe environment and tend to the needs of infants and children of various ages, including toileting, diaper changes, and snacks.
• Perform Zone Management to ensure your Zone is Brand (safe, clean, sanitized, organized, and fun) at all times.
• Provide laundry service for towels used by members (washing, drying, and folding).
• Own and adhere to all child check-in/check-out procedures and responsibly care for members' children.
• Own and follow procedures to ensure payment is collected from club members and guests.
• Be competent in Youth Programming and promote youth happenings and programs at the location; help families find the right programming fit.
• Support the execution of monthly Parents’ Night Out events; provide open availability to work these events at least every other month.
• Attend Team meetings and ongoing trainings to support professional growth and increased contribution to the Team.
• Work with the Kids Club Coordinator to move the Team toward excellence (A+).
• Develop strong relationships with members and Team members; contribute to an On-Brand, enjoyable, inviting atmosphere for children, members, and the Team within the department.

• This position is compensated hourly and part-time.
• May instruct classes or work in a different department if performance expectations in Kids Club are met; other work occurs outside regularly scheduled Kids Club hours.
• Approval from Kids Club Coordinator and appropriate Department Manager is required to work in another department.
• Requires physical fitness and mental alertness (standing, walking, sitting, lifting, kneeling, reaching, handling, thinking, reasoning, and calculating – some of it constant).
• Position includes physical and mental stress; candidates must be prepared to adapt.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other company software is required.
• Positive attitude and professional behavior expected; serve as a daily role model consistent with the Purpose, Mission, and Values.

• Work is primarily indoors; occasional outdoor work may be required depending on conditions.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and pleasant working environment; report defects or unsafe conditions to your direct supervisor.

• First Aid, BPT, and CPR – infant/child/adult certified.
• Strong understanding of child needs and development (1+ years related experience).
• Healthy and physically fit.
• English literacy and basic math skills.
• Highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of Customer Service and effective organizational skills.
• Available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Additional conditions of employment: complete items within 60 days of hire (New Team Member Orientation, Kids Club Training Checklist, Genesis 101: Team Culture Training, FA/CPR/BPT if needed).
