Job Summary

Realcorp Inc. is one of the largest appraisal firms in Omaha, Nebraska. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy office environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing administrative functions, managing vendor relationships, coordinating schedules, and ensuring a smooth workflow across all departments. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, demonstrate proactive leadership, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Duties
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including front desk activities, multi-line phone systems, and visitor reception to ensure a professional and friendly environment
  • Oversee scheduling for meetings, appointments, and company events, ensuring optimal use of resources and time management
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing training, guidance, and support to promote team development and high performance
  • Coordinate client management activities such as marketing, contracts, portal and website account maintenance, insurance, and background checks
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Quick Books, including invoicing and monthly reports
  • Support human resources functions like onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with benefits administration
  • Organize company events and meetings through detailed planning and execution to foster team cohesion and morale
  • Maintain accurate filing systems—both digital and physical—to ensure quick retrieval of important documents
  • Coordinate with vendors for facilities maintenance and equipment maintenance
Skills
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong organizational capabilities
  • Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively
  • Proficiency in Quick Books for bookkeeping and payroll functions
  • Excellent schedule management skills to coordinate multiple calendars seamlessly
  • Vendor management expertise to negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships
  • Knowledge of human resources processes including onboarding, training & development, and employee records management
  • Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette for front desk interactions and internal correspondence
  • Experience in event planning for corporate meetings or company functions
  • Familiarity with office technology such as multi-line phone systems, calendar tools, and filing software
  • Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in busy environments
