Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
About the Role
Christ For the City International (CFCI) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Manager & Bookkeeper to support the financial and administrative operations of our Central Office in Omaha.
This role serves as the operational backbone of the office, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping, timely payroll processing, proper donor gift management, and organized office administration. The position also provides administrative oversight and light guest services support for CFCI’s Lodging Facility.
This role works under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer and in coordination with contracted financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Record and properly code donor contributions in Salesforce
- Process payroll for staff and missionaries
- Reconcile bank accounts and business credit cards
- Create journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation
- Process donor receipts and year-end giving statements
- Maintain accurate donor records
- Respond to donor and missionary financial inquiries
- Process incoming mail and maintain office filing systems
- Coordinate bulk mail and office supplies
- Provide administrative support to Central Office leadership
- Process lodging inquiries and reservation requests
- Manage reservation calendar and guest communication
- Coordinate cleaner scheduling and property turnover
- Provide light guest services and monthly occupancy summary
- 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience processing payroll
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Active membership in a Christian Evangelical Church
- Nonprofit accounting experience
- Experience with fund accounting
- Experience with Salesforce or Accounting Seed
- Spanish language proficiency
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off: Four weeks of vacation annually (accrued)
- Health Stipend: $100 monthly stipend
