Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Teaching & Learning;
Full Time 12-Month
- High‑school diploma
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a professional office setting
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work as a team with students, staff, faculty and administrators
- Able to operate personal computer, laptop computer, peripheral computer equipment, photocopier, fax machine, and other office equipment with a high degree of skill
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills; ableto manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Self‑starter; able to work independently
Strong communication skills; both written and oral - General book keeping skills
Prior experience directly related to essential job functions listed below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Provide support to the buildingstaff.
- Answer phone, receive messages, and respond to inquiries by staff, parents, or patrons of the district.
- File and sort paperwork.
- Input data for recordkeeping.
- Use of school related software.
- Type and/or draft letters of correspondence.
- Schedule and organize meetings or events, including coordination and set up of needed supplies; take meeting minutes.
- Type or prepare reports, compile data, and distribute information to parties both inside and outside of the district.
- Maintain confidentiality
- Attend meetings and training as directed.
- Present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
