Overview
The MERS Mail Team in Omaha, NE assists with timely and accurate management of incoming and outgoing mail. This on-site role involves fast-paced collaboration with the MERS Mail Processing Department. The candidate must be able to make quick decisions and escalate issues when necessary. Reports directly to the Manager of MERS Mail Processing.
Job PurposeThe MERSCORP Mail Center ensures that mail and service of process received by MERS as a Mortgagee in public land records are promptly forwarded to the Servicer or Subservicer identified in the MERS® System for the relevant MIN Record. The Omaha, NE team is the first touch in this process, ingesting mail and electronically scanning it into the GDS System.
Responsibilities- Ingest the electronic and physical mail daily by way of scanning to electronic versions
- Promptly report any issues or disruptions with ingesting the mail
- Identify mail classified to be delivered physically and ship out accordingly
- Identify Index and Categorize documents
- MERS Mail Identification processing
- Three or more years of administrative or relevant work experience
- Familiarity with Kodak Scanner S3021 is a plus
- Other work/general skills:
- Ability to use Outlook 365, MS Teams, and Zoom
- Pitney-Bowes US Postage machine knowledge a plus
- Must be able to make quick decisions knowing when to escalate issues
