Accountant; CPA

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with U.S. accounting standards. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and leadership to maintain financial integrity, support audits, and strengthen internal controls. The ideal candidate brings strong GAAP knowledge, audit experience, and a proactive approach to improving accounting processes.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Maintain general ledger accuracy, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local accounting regulations
• Analyze financial data and provide reporting insights to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows and controls
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards

• Active CPA license required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work onsite in Omaha, NE
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical abilities
