The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate compliance with multi-state sales and payroll taxes in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
- Assist to ensure compliance with all multi-state payroll taxes and sales taxes
- Work with withholding and unemployment for numerous states
- Review numerous types of business expenses for accuracy
- Assist with Accounts Payable duties
- Prefer a two or four year degree
- 2 or more years experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (able to work with tables)
- Ability to run reports
- Experience with multi-state payroll taxes
This position is 100% in office and the work hours are 8am-5pm. Stable and growing company with a full and competitive benefit package!
