This is a full-time, on-site role for a Property Accountant located in Omaha, NE. The Property Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, recording journal entries, managing accounting tasks, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities will include analyzing property financial performance, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with property management teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Accounting concepts, including Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Strong understanding of Journal Entries and general ledger maintenance
- Knowledge of Finance practices and principles, with an ability to analyze financial data
- Attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills in an accounting context
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in property or real estate accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software is preferred
