Sr. Level Accounts; postitions

Duties & Responsibilities

· Prepare assigned consolidation process, including all relevant financial statements.

· Complete journal entries. Verify and prepare supporting documentation associated with journal entry preparation.

· Maintain general ledger detail and complete monthly reconcilements of numerous accounts and activities.

· Assist with year-end audit preparation.

· Prepare periodic sales and use tax returns for assigned entities, including the reconciliation of appropriate transactions.

· Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.

· Prepare reports within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Ensure all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understand and comply with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in accounting.

· 3-7 years of experience in accounting, with emphasis in general ledger entry and reconciliation.

· Accounting/finance skills to apply GAAP in preparing financial statements and reports.

· Experience with Oracle preferred or similar systems.

· Expert skills using Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

· CPA preferred.
