Overview
Join our team at Terex Omagh as an HR Advisor. You will play a pivotal role in supporting managers in day-to-day operational HR matters and partnering with stakeholders to drive the people agenda to achieve business results.
Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with line managers and supervisors to provide business partnering support and ensure the effective delivery of end-to-end HR processes.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors and team members.
- Support line managers to set goals, assess capability, and drive calibration across the performance management cycle.
- Develop robust relationships with key stakeholders across the operation to promote collaboration on people-related initiatives.
- Manage the recruitment life cycle from inception to completion in partnership with hiring managers.
- Support team member engagement, retention and culture initiatives, including health and wellbeing promotion.
- On-board, conduct HR orientation and probation reviews for new team members in allocated client groups.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, applying them consistently and updating where necessary.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and embed HR practices that add value.
- Proactively manage absence (short-term and long-term) and refer to occupational health when required.
- Handle disciplinary and grievance issues professionally.
- Support payroll administration for weekly paid team members.
- Plan, organise and deliver training and development for team members at all levels.
- HR-related degree advantageous.
- CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification or relevant professional qualification.
- Ability to work as part of a flexible HR team, prioritise workload and complete tasks on time.
- Track record as a true HR Business Partner providing operational HR support.
- Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment balancing operational demands with projects.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation; experience applying it in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to identify and drive improvements to HR processes and employee experience.
- Understanding or experience applying AI tools to support HR practices is advantageous.
