Woodbank House is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. It is situated centrally within Omagh. Woodbank House provides 24-hour staff support services 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day-to-day decision making.

Qualifications and Experience

• QCF/NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
• 6 months experience in a formal care/support role
  * and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues. (Must be currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months).
• Alternatively, 2 years’ experience in a formal care/support role
  * and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues (Must be currently registered with NISCC or must achieve registration within 6 months if new).
• Must be willing to work towards the completion of relevant qualification.
• * Formal Care / Support may include caring at home where the carer is in receipt of Carers’ Allowance, or voluntary work in a formal setting.
