Management Accountant - Omagh Salary:
Up to £45,000 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting financial management activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to optimise business performance. Duties Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with precision and timeliness. Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Utilise accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, Xero, People Soft, and other financial management tools to maintain accurate financial data. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries. Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning to optimise organisational resources.

Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members on accounting procedures and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Assist in internal audits and liaise with external auditors as required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department by streamlining processes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, Xero, People Soft, or equivalent platforms.

Strong understanding of financial management principles, including financial accounting and reporting standards. Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative team environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
