Tugboat Mate – Puget Sound​/Harbor

TUGBOAT MATE – PUGET SOUND/HARBOR $120,000/yr to start; $682.92/day

Dunlap Towing Company is looking for a Mate with extensive Puget Sound experience to join our team. This position will be responsible for towing various barges between Puget Sound ports and Canada. Harbor work will include tug/barge assist work in and out of various Puget Sound ports including Bellingham, Anacortes, and Everett as well as barge towing on the Snohomish River.

Starting at $120,000/year

* (180 working days)

• 200 Ton, minimum.
• Towing Endorsement (Not assistance towing) – REQUIRED
• Ability to sail to/from Canada.
• Medical Certificate
• State Driver’s License.
• US Passport.
• Permanent residence in Washington or Oregon is highly preferred.
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
• Experience sailing as Mate in the Puget Sound highly preferred
