Position: LVN / LPN
Job Summary:

This contract position is for a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) responsible for providing nursing care as directed by a Registered Nurse. The role includes gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures appropriate for the patient's age and condition. The LPN/LVN will work Monday through Friday, and must be punctual, flexible, and able to quickly integrate into the team.

Responsibilities:

- Gathering and reporting patient data.
- Carrying out physician orders.
- Performing therapeutic procedures on patients.
- Providing appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN.
- Maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Maintaining flexibility while on assignment.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active WA LPN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Experience with diabetic patients.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.

Special Considerations:

- Must be able to quickly integrate into the team and "hit the ground running."

Scheduling:
- Monday through Friday.
- 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
- 37.5 billable hours per week.
- Contract Dates: 4/13 - 6/17
