Overview
Seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one diabetic care to a student during school hours. The LPN will be responsible for monitoring blood glucose levels, and ensuring the student’s safety and well-being throughout the school day.
Base pay range$40.00/hr - $44.00/hr
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 nursing care to a student with diabetes
- Monitor and document blood glucose levels regularly
- Recognize and respond promptly to hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia
- Coordinate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers regarding the student’s care plan
- Maintain accurate medical records and daily logs
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment for the student
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (State-specific)
- Experience with diabetic care (pediatric experience preferred)
- Knowledge of insulin administration, glucose monitoring, and emergency response
- CPR and First Aid
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Mid-Senior level
- Full-time
