Swiss CNC Machinist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Lathe Machinist who is proficient in operating and maintaining CNC lathe equipment to produce high-precision components. The role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications, working with metals and plastics, and consistently delivering parts that meet tight tolerances.
Responsibilities- Setup and run Swiss CNC Screw machines to maintain high-quality, tight tolerance machined parts, including changing/editing programming and tooling.
- Monitor multiple Swiss CNC machines during production.
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment following manufacturer's guidelines.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to management for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Swiss Lathe, CNC Lathe, and CNC Program Editing.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Good mechanical skills and inclination.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Skilled communicator capable of working in a team environment.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up and operating multi-Axis (Swiss Lathe) CNC Screw Machine.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree or apprenticeship certificate, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with ISO-9001 and/or AS-9100 certification environments is a plus.
- Strong leadership potential is highly desirable.
- Ability to read, edit, and change NC code (G&M code).
- Experience with work order software.

Work EnvironmentThe position offers a Monday to Friday shift from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. The company uses software systems such as Exact JobBOSS, uni Point, and GAL6 to streamline operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Olympia, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
