Inventory Clerk

Supply Chain, Procurement & Transportation Olympia, Washington

Duties include the receiving and unloading of incoming materials and comparison of information on the packing slips while monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels

• Sorts and counts packages, labels, totes, etc.
• Operates pallet jack or forklift for unloading product
• Receives product and places in proper location
• Performs a physical count of inventory
• Restocks items as necessary
• Informs purchasing agent of low-level inventories
• Practice all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Follows all Safe Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s)
• Adhere to all safety regulations and practices
• Maintains a safe work environment inside/outside for all associates by picking up all debris, trash and etc.
• Wears required uniform as needed
• Knowledge of and adheres to all state and local health requirements
• Provides good personal hygiene
• Performs additional duties as assigned to meet demands of daily production scheduling
• Ensure all tools and supplies needed to get the job done are available
• Notify Lead when issues arise
• Assures compliance with all company safety rules
• Follow and monitor proper safety equipment usage and safety practices
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements

• Must attend work consistently
• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with others

• Production process experience preferred

• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently
