Quality Assurance Sanitation Supervisor

QA Manager/Plant Manager
This position oversees the nightly sanitation process, ensuring that company and government policies are followed, monitoring employee safety, identifying sanitation opportunities, verifying procedures and documentation, preparing the plant for pre‑operational inspection, and coordinating maintenance when needed.
KEY FUNCTIONS- Monitors the sanitation process, reports opportunities and operational issues through the daily nightly log and emails.
- Ensures compliance with JBS and government policies.
- Completes a walkthrough of the plant to identify areas of opportunity and notifies individuals via email or work orders.
- Serves as a liaison between sanitation management, plant departments, and government regulatory organizations.
- Interacts and works with different departmental leaders.
- Verifies chemical dilutions are correct through visual monitoring or titration.
- Manages the weekly master sanitation schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed and documented.
- Documents and ensures corrective actions for items not serviced.
- Visually verifies required documents at least once a week to keep the sanitation contractor audit‑ready.
- Verifies staffing numbers by area.
- Conducts daily or after‑shift meetings to review opportunities, concerns, and improvements for the sanitation shift and plant.
- Participates in meetings as requested.
- Assists in pre‑operational inspection and documents safety inspections, reporting findings with photos.
- Communicates ideas, suggestions, problems, and solutions as needed.
- Provides coaching to all sanitation staff on safety principles and application.
- Assists Incident Commander in facility evacuations, shelter‑in‑place, and emergency operations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Self‑motivated and proactive in asking questions.
- Effective verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Decision‑making following company policies and procedures.
- Ability to reach or exceed goal expectations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple supervisors, leads, and managers.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Analyze problems, concerns, or issues to identify root causes and provide viable solutions.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of plant and corporate management.
- Assist in training and improving standards.
Very active position. Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work long hours in a wet, damp, and cold environment.
EMPLOYEES’ COMPENSATION & BENEFITS- Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage begin after 60 days of employment.

- Wage Scale $80,168.40–$83,000.
