Join our team as a Psychiatric Social Worker 4 as an Electronic Health Records (EHR) clinical specialist in Olympia, WA! Behavioral Health and Habilitation Administration (BHHA) is a vital part of the Department of Social Health Services (DSHS) and needs your help to support those we serve. As a Psychiatric Social Worker 4 (PSW), you'll provide clinical leadership and perspective for the strategic planning, management, integration, and implementation of clinical information systems and technology for BHHA.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
- Align workflows, processes, forms, and assessments across all BHHA
- Direct and guide staff members in the adoption of new workflow, processes, assessments and tools
- Understand and articulate current facility workflows and apply understanding of end to end processes
- Advocate for standardized solutions that deliver high quality of care
- Promote EHR activities and implementation and adoption of EHR
- Work with other psychiatric social work staff to consult and assist with process improvement activities
- Support technical teams by analyzing complex technology issues
- Outstanding clinical, interpersonal, communication, consensus building and negotiating skills
- Ability to train others
- Knowledge of principles of change management
- Ability to utilize critical thinking to bridge gaps between clinical, business and technology
- Detail oriented and capable of exploring innovative solutions to solve complex problems
- Ability to use the Microsoft suite and various computer programs
- Clinical Social Work License (LICSW, LASW)
Those with a Master's degree from an approved school of social work. AND Three years of experience in counseling mentally or emotionally disturbed people.
Note:
A degree in Social Work must be from an educational program accredited by the Counsel on Social Work Education.
